I have definitely been considering switching to a midwife for my next baby because I didn't like the impersonal nature of my 9 doctor ob office. But I was worried about the same thing with a midwife office of many midwives. I will for sure do more research. I'm not really sold on a home-birth yet (did that already...!) but your info really makes me thinks more about my options!
